About the position

As a member of the Baxter Marketing team, you will work on designing, developing and implementing marketing programs and pricing strategies. You'll leverage your expertise to present our life-sustaining and live-saving products and services to the relevant market sector. Working in collaboration with the sales and technical teams, there will be opportunity for learning, development and future career growth across a variety of fields within Baxter. The Sr. Manager, Global Product Marketing, GSS Accessories is an upstream Product Manager. This role oversees the strategic development, management, and growth of Baxter's Allen, Trumpf and third-party portfolio. The Sr. Global Product Marketing Manager leads and coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to drive profitable portfolio growth globally.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product teams across business units to align on release cadences and roadmap prioritization.
  • Lead portfolio growth strategy incorporating innovation to address market needs and opportunities.
  • Research and understand key market/customer trends and competitor strategies.
  • Develop strategic business plans and financial models to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Drive clinical research requirements to support the value proposition and product launch activities.
  • Communicate the strategy and secure consensus from customers, key industry influencers and Baxter executive leadership.
  • Drive alignment with regional marketing and business partners on market needs, go to market strategies and pricing.
  • Develop and track key business performance indicators to identify vital countermeasures to achieving business/market goals.
  • Serve as the technical lead with customer partners on technology deployment for product validation requirements.
  • Operate with cross-functional leadership to deploy new go-to-market strategies for technology including pricing, quote to cash, training and support.
  • Partner with global commercial and service teams to drive market adoption of connected IT solutions.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time Domestic and International.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of professional experience in product management and/or marketing in a life sciences corporation (medical device, diagnostics or capital equipment experience preferred).
  • At least 2 years product management experience for a device connectivity portfolio (hardware and software).
  • Minimum 2 years upstream/global, regional, or country marketing capacity.
  • 3 years people management exposure.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results across multiple business units and functions in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated skill in persuading individuals across functions, geographies, and seniority levels.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others towards a common goal.
  • Consistent record of successfully influencing key stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including executive-level presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, critical decision-making, personal accountability, and self-motivation, with a collaborative attitude.
  • Validated product management experience with success driving aligned, global initiatives that meet/exceed targets.
