Responsibilities

  • Maintain several SW product lines
  • Troubleshoot Operating System issues
  • Execute Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) vulnerability management (CVEs) processes
  • Coordinate and interface with SW SubProjects, Systems Engineering, the Infrastructure System Administration team, external customers, and multiple E1 site personnel teams
  • Work in a dynamic team environment to create and implement well-defined processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 Years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 6 Years of relevant experience with Masters; 4 Years of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree
  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application
  • 8+ years experience in languages such as C, C++ or Rust
  • Experience building software solutions involving hardware integrations
  • Advance knowledge of Linux kernel and operating system constructs
  • Advanced knowledge of computer networking standards (OSI), concepts, and related protocols (ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, ARP, and DHCP)
  • Familiarity with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases
  • Familiarity with Agile SW methodologies

Nice-to-haves

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance w/CI poly
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • DevOps or Platform Engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Python and Perl
  • Experience in designing, developing, deploying, and scaling containerized applications (Kubernetes)
  • Experience driving architectural, design, and technical aspects of business-critical cloud applications
  • Security+ Certification
  • Mission One Experience
