The position requires an experienced professional with a background in quality assurance. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can do attitude and approaches his/her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive validation of high Quality, high performance and production ready software for Car control domains in Infotainment
- Ensure quality from low level software to end applications
- Validate software in simulation and on vehicle
- Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level
- Design, maintain and execute automated tests, including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing
- Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage.
Requirements
- MS or BS in related Engineering discipline
- 5+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer
- Experience working in Automotive - Infotainment
- Working knowledge on Android and/or Linux
- Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality Tests
- Experience working in an agile environments
- Test/Automation and UI validation tools experience
- Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle
- Excellent documentation and organization skills
- Good communication, able to convey both detailed explanations and high-level status updates and know when each is appropriate
- Self-starter requiring minimal direction
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to prioritize incoming issues in a fast-paced environment.
