Responsibilities
- Build a centralized platform to support all domain teams in implementing and running their experiments.
- Manage feature deployment through a feature flags platform.
- Design, build, and drive company-wide adoption of features to improve feature development productivity and efficiency.
- Build user-friendly web applications for test owners to create experiments and review results.
- Provide SDK for developers to instrument their experiments.
- Power company-wide feature flags/dynamic configurations for dark deployments.
- Build a sophisticated metric calculation engine to onboard global and local metrics for experiment decision making.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years work experience.
- Track records in delivering highly distributed systems.
- Platform knowledge working with AWS, Docker, Etcd, Zookeeper, Elastic Search, Git and Apache Hadoop technologies.
- Knowledge around A/B Testing is preferred.
- Computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, performance complexity, and implications of computer architecture on software performance.
- Software engineering fundamentals: version control systems (i.e Git, Github) and workflows, and ability to write production-ready code.
- Experience deploying highly scalable software supporting millions or more users.
- Experience with integrating applications and platforms with cloud technologies (i.e AWS and GCP).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct meetings and make professional presentations, and to explain complex concepts and technical material to non-technical users.
