We are looking for a multi-faceted engineer who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment utilizing cutting-edge technology and tools to create mission critical capabilities for our customers. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
  • Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls.
  • Prepare operating instructions; design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
  • Ensure software standards are met.
  • Develop, enhance, or troubleshoot Java or Python based microservices in Kubernetes or local container environment.
  • Develop or troubleshoot multi-layer helm charts.
  • Write or update technical documentation, test procedures, automated test using robot framework.
  • Develop, enhance, or troubleshoot web services using javascript, nodejs, vuejs, and vuetify.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Science (BS) degree in science, engineering or related discipline with 12 years of experience; 10 years of relevant experience with Masters (MS) degree; 8 years with a PhD.
  • Experience with Python, Java, javascript, nodejs, vuejs, vuetify.
  • Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, Maven, yarn.
  • Experience with Docker/podman, containers, Linux.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud deployment.
  • Experience with microservices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, flux, helm, kubectl.
