About the position

At Shield AI, our Hivemind Solutions Product Team is redefining defense technology by delivering mission autonomy solutions that provide next generation manned-unmanned teams across multiple domains. We design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge software solutions that leverage robotics, AI-driven autonomy, and mature software foundations to support mission-critical operations. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy, execution, and commercialization of our mission autonomy solutions. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive candidate for a Product Strategy and Analysis role. In this critical role, you will serve as a key partner to the Product Portfolio Leads by providing key insights to product strategy development deliverables and aligning multiple functions to define and execute product strategy to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support our Product leads in developing & executing strategic plans.
  • Analyze and shape the business models that underpin market expansion opportunities.
  • Support go-to-market strategy, planning and execution for new product launches, including positioning, messaging, and pricing and international expansion.
  • Define and execute best-in-class product management practices.
  • Effectively communicate information to key stakeholders.
  • Work with our Hivemind team to determine pricing strategy and business case analysis for emergent opportunities.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, anticipate risks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to create financial models to support business case analysis.
  • Experience working with government, defense, or aerospace customers, with familiarity in DoD procurement and acquisition processes.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years as an MBB consultant.
  • High-level technical understanding of autonomous systems, including software engineering, AI/ML, autonomy, networking, and embedded systems.
