As the Technology Project & Program Manager, you will help us in our mission to ensure that nurses, nurse educators, and hospital administrators who use our Nursing digital products continue to benefit from the excellent content and workflow functionality offered in our point-of-care and point-of-learning solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with Product Management on activities designed to ensure deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Translating high-level user stories from Product Management into specific technical development items/requests.
  • Bringing strong organizational skills and prioritization to how product backlogs are crafted/maintained/grow.
  • Owning the product development lifecycle/schedule, working with Agile/Scrum teams to plan for and execute on sprints and releases.
  • Maintaining the health/performance of assigned products/platforms.
  • Collaborating with other Product Owners and Technology colleagues to identify opportunities for efficiencies/consistency in development approaches.
  • Acting as a product’s subject matter expert for questions and requests for updates from various teams.

Requirements

  • College degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
  • 1 years’ experience in digital product development or equivalent experience in working on products/solutions for the nursing practice market.
  • Strong knowledge of every stage of the product development process from concept to post-launch.
  • Experience developing and leading the execution of product development.
  • Demonstrated experience understanding user needs and market trends.
  • Proven ability to craft workflow and user experience requirements that meet strategic business goals.
  • Experience with understanding Technology opportunities, constraints, and choices.
  • Ability to prioritize and act as a structured thinker.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including ability to develop schedules and oversee work-in-progress.
  • General knowledge of the healthcare/nursing market.
  • Familiarity with customer contextual inquiry and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and dashboard creation.
  • Certification as either a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
  • Exposure to simulation/virtual reality products.
  • Experience in contributing to customer-facing communication plans.
  • Familiarity with backlog software and team communication applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Familiarity with backlog software (e.g., Jira, VSO, Trello, Wrike) and team communication applications (Slack, MS Teams, etc.).
