About the position

We’re looking for a collaborative, strategic, and human-centered designer to lead workshops, craft digital experiences, and drive innovation through Design Thinking. As a Fractional UI/UX Designer, you’ll guide product strategy, co-create with clients, and help build a design-led culture—serving as both a facilitator and a creative partner in delivering insight-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate engaging Design Thinking workshops—including empathy mapping, ideation, journey mapping, and prototyping
  • Create personas, user journeys, and service blueprints based on user research and stakeholder input
  • Lead collaborative sessions with clients to uncover opportunities, frame problems, and align on user-centric solutions
  • Translate insights into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Define and document user stories, interaction models, and key flows to support product development
  • Deliver clear, actionable recommendations and visual summaries post-workshop
  • Act as an advocate and educator of human-centered design principles across internal and client teams
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure effective implementation

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including mobile, web, and responsive product design
  • Proven experience planning, facilitating, and delivering Design Thinking workshops
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both design deliverables and workshop outcomes
  • Skilled in tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe XD, InVision, or equivalent
  • Comfortable leading client-facing sessions, pitching ideas, and guiding strategic conversations
  • Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, and responsive frameworks
  • Ability to adapt design approaches to suit business goals, timelines, and constraints

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience designing for enterprise platforms or customer-facing digital products
  • Understanding of product or business strategy and the ability to connect design to measurable impact
  • Familiarity with Agile workflows and multi-disciplinary team collaboration
  • Some working knowledge of HTML/CSS for better design-to-dev handoff (optional but helpful)
