As a mid-level UI/UX Designer supporting the Geospatial Services and Solutions team you will ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage UI/UX design projects from concept to completion.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Conduct user research, workshops and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the seamless implementation of designs.
  • Advocate for user-centric design principles and methodologies within the organization.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, research and engineering.
  • Proficient in tools such as Figma, Storybook, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Extensive experience in creating detailed user journeys, personas, and scenarios.
  • Experience in creating and managing user research groups like Sponsor User programs.
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders both face-to-face and remote.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating design concepts and rationale effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to create and conduct user research workshops using tools like Miro, Teams or Figma.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Visual Communications, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Experience with Agile development processes.
