About the position

The Interactive Designer draws upon user data, research and team input to generate interaction concepts that enable seamless and relevant experiences for users. The strategy is broken down into emotional and physical interaction concepts to ensure that the user finds the product engaging and intuitive and also meets the business needs of the client.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Creative Director and Digital Experience Director to develop creative strategy, design concepts and directions for client websites, apps and other digital products
  • Lead multiple digital projects simultaneously through close collaboration with Creative Director ensuring deadlines are met and confirming clients are satisfied
  • Seek and nurture strong collaborative relationships with creative/engineering team and clients
  • Review and approve work with oversight from the Creative Director
  • Review design work with the quality assurance team to ensure the digital product meets all standards of excellence upon completion of development as described by iostudio
  • Lead the design, and create designs, across multiple digital platforms
  • Keep abreast of current design trends, technology, styles, etc., and share information with the team
  • Clearly communicate the reasoning behind the work you create
  • Design wireframes for web and mobile apps, high-fidelity website mockups and UI kits
  • Create digital prototypes
  • Design user journey maps and be able to translate so that multiple types of departments can understand user intent across digital products
  • Assist with user A/B testing
  • Complete and submit daily time reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in Art, Graphic Design and/or relevant field of study
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital design
  • Ability to consistently produce compelling creative work and guide others to do the same in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficiency in design practices that include user-centered experience design and digital design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • WordPress pro
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Portfolio of current or recent work across multiple mediums
