About the position

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Brand Marketing & Creative Services to shape and execute the corporate brand strategy across our organization. This individual will assume a key leadership role in redefining the brand architecture, voice, and narrative of Related Companies, ensuring alignment and consistency across all brand expressions, including real estate development, corporate social responsibility, and employer branding initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team of marketing, design, and creative professionals, while partnering closely with senior executives to amplify the brand's impact across all asset classes. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience as a brand strategist and storyteller, with proven expertise in integrated marketing, digital strategy, and cross-functional team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Design and direct a holistic brand marketing plan that strengthens our reputation, core values, and business objectives across channels and audiences.
  • Refresh our brand's visual style, voice, and market positioning while revising brand guidelines and overseeing trademark management.
  • Guide and support a multidisciplinary team responsible for creative direction, design, social media, and digital content creation.
  • Orchestrate multi-platform marketing efforts to highlight Related's development portfolio, milestones, partnerships, and community impact.
  • Establish the purpose and voice of each social channel; oversee content planning, audience engagement, and platform growth to enhance brand loyalty.
  • Work alongside HR and Talent Acquisition to cultivate an attractive employer brand that draws and retains exceptional talent.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Community Engagement to develop and share compelling stories that highlight Related's corporate social responsibility and community involvement.
  • Manage marketing budgets and agency collaborations to optimize campaign delivery and maintain high standards.
  • Plan and synchronize content development and storytelling to align with major milestones, announcements, and events.
  • Promote a culture focused on analytics and continuous improvement within the marketing function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing, preferably with a blend of agency and in-house leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in developing brand architecture and integrated marketing strategies for complex, multi-entity businesses.
  • Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, and multimedia content development skills.
  • Strong digital acumen, including experience with social media, content marketing, and owned media strategy.
  • Experience managing and scaling high-performing teams and creative services functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, while influencing across senior leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and project management skills.
