AlertMedia is hiring a visionary Vice President of Product, Risk Intelligence - a security-savvy leader who fuses OSINT, AI, and social media intelligence to build the future of threat detection and response.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Risk and Threat Intelligence Product Strategy
  • Define and own AlertMedia’s product strategy for the Risk Intelligence product portfolio, aligning with the company’s mission and growth objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize expansion opportunities into adjacent solution areas (e.g., social intelligence, background investigations, digital footprint scanning, brand reputation monitoring, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain the long-term roadmap for threat intelligence and related products, informed by customer needs, technology trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Act as a thought leader internally and externally, shaping AlertMedia’s position in the evolving threat intelligence market.
  • Drive Content & Data Strategy
  • Establish a world-class approach to acquiring, enriching, and operationalizing external and internal data sources across the open, dark, and social web.
  • Partner with data science and engineering teams to identify new sources, ingestion methods, and enrichment techniques that maximize accuracy, relevance, and speed of insight delivery.
  • Ensure our data strategy supports compliance, ethics, and transparency in threat monitoring and investigation.
  • Accelerate Capabilities Expansion
  • Guide the development of new investigative capabilities such as entity search, people and organization profiling, and threat actor mapping.
  • Partner with Engineering and external vendors to evaluate and implement AI and other technologies that enhance search, extraction, alerting, and visualization.
  • Oversee technical and product evaluations for tools that support intelligence workflows across corporate security, executive protection, and threat assessment teams.
  • Go-to-Market & Enablement Leadership
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define and execute GTM plans for new and existing digital intelligence products.
  • Lead internal enablement efforts across Product Marketing, Technical Solutions, Implementation, and Support to ensure teams are equipped to drive adoption and communicate value.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in customer and prospect engagements, guiding solution fit and product alignment with real-world use cases.
  • Business Case Development & Execution
  • Build business cases to evaluate investment in new intelligence initiatives, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Use market and customer research to model opportunity sizing, pricing strategies, and ROI for new offerings.
  • Track key performance metrics for the Threat Intelligence Solutions portfolio and make data-driven decisions on prioritization and evolution.
  • People Management & Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the Risk and Threat Intelligence Product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Set team objectives, define clear roles and responsibilities, and support career development plans.
  • Provide performance feedback, coaching, and guidance to ensure alignment with strategic goals and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Promote cross-functional engagement and collaboration across product, engineering, intelligence analysts, and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in threat intelligence, security risk management, or intelligence technology products.
  • Proven success in launching and scaling intelligence-driven SaaS products, preferably in B2B or government markets.
  • Deep understanding of the intelligence lifecycle and how OSINT, social media, and proprietary data sources contribute to situational awareness and decision support.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing world-class product teams.
  • Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional product strategies, roadmap development, and market launches.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence internal teams, external customers, and industry stakeholders.
  • A thought leader mindset with the ability to see around corners and anticipate the evolution of the intelligence and security markets.
  • Comfortable with technical and analytical conversations about AI/ML, data pipelines, search relevance, and security tooling.
