About the position

The VIP Marketing Host is required to lead a team of hosts that meet/exceed set quotas at all times. Experience in nightclubs and expert knowledge of local and visiting VIP customers is required. The Lead is accountable for maintaining a highly energized room that drives the highest possible revenue on a nightly basis. The Lead must work closely with the operations team and will be accountable for important decisions made on a daily/nightly basis. The position is also required to fulfill an individual quota and meet all VIP Marketing Host skills and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Approve all table reservations, comps and packages using company guidelines
  • Drive revenue by assigning customers to the appropriate tables/sections
  • Conduct inspirational pre-shifts that focus and motivate the staff to drive quality and volume to the venue
  • Explain team/individual strategy to reach daily, weekly and monthly quotas to all hosts on a daily basis
  • Ensure all door policies and procedures are being adhered to at all times
  • Ensure all tips are turned in, in accordance with AMG company guidelines
  • Accountable for maintaining an energized and profitable club by transferring tables and closing sections as necessary
  • Develop VIP Marketing Hosts by conducting educational individual weekly KPI Report reviews
  • Communicate all company announcements to the host team via Pre-shift, e-mail or memo
  • Ensure all hosts are aware of all company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring all Door and Service SOP's are being followed by host team
  • Coaching and counseling as necessary
  • Issuing progressive discipline correctly and on time to host team
  • Create and distribute weekly host schedule according to the company policy
  • Schedule and lead 'Team Outing's', documenting attendance in individual host files
  • Assist with interviewing and hiring all VIP Marketing Hosts
  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing events
  • Maintain a weekly minimum of VIP table sales and guest list at your assigned venue
  • Provide support for internal network of venues through attendance and/or predefined quotas
  • Perform basic sales and lead generation functions, strategically targeting certain markets
  • Use company proprietary software to maintain a thorough database
  • Establish and maintain specific marketing and communication channels
  • Assist in the execution of corporate and venue-specific marketing initiatives
  • Attend all manner of social events with a specific focus on networking and relationship marketing
  • Work at assigned venue 3-4 days per week, tending to the processing and customer service of guests

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 21+ years of age
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
  • Possession of/or ability to possess a valid NV Alcohol awareness card and NV Health Card
  • Five plus (5+) years in the nightlife industry
  • Proficient in Windows Office, Microsoft Office, Mac OSX, POS systems
