About the position

Reporting to the Global VP, Enterprise Marketing, this executive will lead enterprise field marketing and sales development efforts in AMER! The role involves close collaboration with regional counterparts in EMEA and JAPAC. This leader will also work closely with global cross-functional teams spanning Field & Executive Marketing, Digital, Content, Integrated Campaigns, Field Insights, and BDR Operations. We are looking for a leader to focus on developing marketing strategies aligned with Adobe's overarching go-to-market and revenue goals for the AMER region. There will also be a strong focus on account-based marketing and demand generation. In addition, the executive will oversee the AMER sales development (BDR) team, driving pipeline creation and progression across the entire enterprise segment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of approximately 200 employees across Americas field marketing, events, segment marketing, and sales development.
  • Serve as the 'face of marketing' to AMER field sales leadership, representing the full impact of marketing on pipeline and bookings.
  • Manage a team of over 120 BDRs to drive pipeline through both inbound and outbound prospecting.
  • Craft field marketing and sales development programs that exceed pipeline creation targets across GTM segments.
  • Deliver engaging programs to progress pipeline maturity in partnership with field sales teams.
  • Collaborate with global Centers of Excellence to shape campaign strategy, marketing mix, investment decisions, and marketing plans.
  • Influence the campaign measurement framework to highlight marketing's impact on pipeline, bookings, and revenue.
  • Work with the marketing insights team to continuously optimize programs and spend.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with field sales, customer success, services, and product marketing teams.
  • Act as customer zero, providing early feedback to product teams while showcasing Adobe's capabilities internally.
  • Empower and develop talent, optimize organizational structure, and provide guidance to regional marketing organizations across the Americas.

Requirements

  • Ruthless accountability, data-driven approach, and collaborative problem solving skills.
  • Extensive leadership experience in enterprise technology and cloud-centric industries.
  • A track record of success as an effective and impactful enterprise marketing leader and partner to field sales executives.
  • Experience managing an enterprise sales development team focused on driving growth in the tech industry.
  • Mastery of field marketing, exceptional event management and execution, and ABM programs.
  • Steadfast focus on the customer experience.
  • Deep understanding of marketing's role in driving pipeline and bookings in enterprise software sales motion.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a matrixed organization and influence key partners.
  • Deep analytical expertise and ability to run by the numbers.
  • Experience leading teams in a matrixed environment.
