About the position

Aptia is seeking a strategic, market-oriented product executive to lead our Active Solutions portfolio - the foundation of our current client offering. As Vice President of Product, you will own the vision, roadmap, and commercial strategy for a suite of established yet evolving solutions in employee benefits and health administration. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on advancing product-market fit, driving adoption and growth, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client value. You’ll also play a key role in Aptia’s overall product leadership, influencing portfolio-wide strategy, product operations, and go-to-market alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for Aptia’s Active and Target Solutions portfolio, ensuring alignment with Aptia’s business objectives and market opportunities
  • Drive product-market fit, differentiation, and competitive strategy across a suite of mature and modular solutions
  • Serve as a visible thought leader and voice of the product internally and externally
  • Collaborate with a team of product managers, fostering a culture of clarity, accountability, and customer-centered delivery
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Client Success, Sales, and Operations to deliver integrated, scalable, and high-impact solutions
  • Ensure the voice of customer and market insights drive prioritization and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to shape go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and enablement
  • Monitor product performance through KPIs and customer feedback, using insights to drive iteration and growth
  • Contribute to the broader product leadership agenda - shaping product operations, portfolio governance, and team development

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles, ideally within employee benefits, health tech, or enterprise B2B environments
  • Strong track record leading market-facing products in enterprise SaaS, benefits, HR tech, or health-related platforms
  • Experience managing and evolving mature product lines—balancing innovation, technical debt, and long-term value
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and experience driving adoption, retention, and revenue growth
  • Skilled at aligning cross-functional teams and building partnerships across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Client Success
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for data-informed decisions, outcomes, and measurable impact
  • Strong communicator with executive presence, able to engage with internal stakeholders, clients, and external audiences

  • Experience in a private-equity-backed environment and/or navigating transformation and scale-up phases
