About the position

Delinea is seeking a strategic and dynamic Vice President of Product Marketing to lead our global product marketing, technical marketing, and competitive intelligence efforts. This executive-level leader will play a critical role in driving buyer-centric go-to-market strategy, differentiated positioning, messaging, sales enablement, analyst relations, competitive intelligence, and technical content development for our entire product portfolio. This individual will work cross-functionally with marketing, product management, sales, and customer success to ensure market-leading positioning and consistent storytelling that clearly articulates the value of Delinea’s solutions to executive, economic, and technical buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously refine product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation to align with buyer personas and journeys.
  • Own product launch strategy and execution in collaboration with product management and demand generation.
  • Partner with sales leadership and enablement to develop compelling sales assets, training materials, and content that help accelerate deal velocity.
  • Drive market segmentation and targeting strategies to support integrated marketing campaigns and ABM programs.
  • Lead buyer and market research efforts to inform messaging, roadmap prioritization, and strategic decisions.
  • Partner with product management and sales to develop global go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
  • Oversee the creation of high-impact technical content (whitepapers, technical briefs, videos, labs, etc.) that demonstrates product capabilities and value to technical audiences.
  • Partner closely with product management and sales engineering to develop hands-on enablement resources such as demo environments, workshops, and reference architectures.
  • Support analyst relations by articulating product differentiation and technical strategy in briefings and report responses.
  • Represent the company at technical conferences, webinars, and industry events to evangelize our product vision and capabilities.
  • Oversee the ongoing competitive intelligence program that drives competitive sales content, enablement, and sales engagement to improve the ability to win against key competitors.
  • Maintain and update a competitive landscape to be used by product management, corporate development, and sales to identify key competitive trends.
  • Oversee and facilitate the ongoing competitive win/loss program using sales and buyer quantitative and qualitative data to continually improve Delinea’s competitive win rate.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of product and technical marketers.
  • Collaborate with Product, Demand Generation, Brand, and Sales to drive alignment across initiatives and performance metrics.
  • Serve as a key spokesperson for Delinea’s solutions in customer, partner, analyst, and media interactions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing both product and technical marketing.
  • Proven success leading strategic product launches and scaling high-performing teams in a high-growth, complex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated messaging for both technical and business audiences.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership, product teams, analysts, and enterprise sales organizations.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, identity and access management (IAM) and adjacent markets strongly preferred.
