Responsibilities
- Conduct wireless performance research focused on understanding factors affecting wireless performance and end user experience.
- Analyze antenna performance, modem performance, SAR, RF algorithms, user interaction with device, channel conditions, co-existence, and interference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive changes in antenna, wireless algorithms, and system level design and architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years industry experience in wireless RF and system level performance testing.
- Strong understanding of cellular, WiFi or GNSS technologies.
- Test automation experience.
- Python preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Master’s degree in Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering.
- 3+ years industry experience in wireless systems.
- Experience working on physical layer wireless algorithms.
- Strong background in wireless communications.
- Experience with cellular field performance testing and network drops.
- Experience analyzing baseband logs to root cause performance issues.
- Cellular base station side experience.
