Primary Responsibility / Summary The Custodial Trainee position is part of GSC's Supported Employment Group Program (SEP). Custodial Trainees are part of a group enclave of 3-4 Trainees who work with the Contracts team and a Job Coach to train in all aspects of custodial services at Company and/or Contract facilities. SEP's goal is to support Custodial Trainees in developing and expanding skill sets necessary to prepare each Trainee for successful transition from the group setting to Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) in their community. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Performs daily cleaning tasks as assigned, including cleaning of floors in lobby, corridors, restrooms, offices and other public areas. Vacuum, dust, empty trash from offices, lobby, restrooms. Daily cleaning of restrooms and routine checks to spot clean and replenish supplies. Interior glass and window cleaning. Maintains clean and sanitary conditions throughout. Maintains custodial equipment and supplies in neat, orderly condition. Interacts cooperatively with Goodwill staff and/or Government Personnel and customers Follows all safety rules and exercise caution in all work related activities. Maintains a clean and safe environment by following all social distancing and personal protective equipment policies and procedures. Education & Experience No prior experience or training.
