About the position

The Accounts Payable Assistant at Din Tai Fung plays a crucial role in ensuring timely vendor payments and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is essential for the smooth operation of the Accounts Payable department, contributing to the overall efficiency of financial workflows within the company.

Responsibilities

• Paying vendors on time by monitoring credits, verifying signatures on invoices, and scheduling and preparing checks.
• Maintaining and posting account transactions.
• Monitoring deadlines of all payments.
• Recording and keeping all invoices in accounting systems.
• Resolving issues with vendors, such as payment discrepancies and credit errors, and managing account creation and cancellation.
• Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the Accounts Payable functions and duties.

Requirements

• Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable preferred but not required.
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Highly motivated and adaptable to change.
• Ability to write legibly for simple correspondence.
• Understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures.
