The position is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, treat, and evaluate nursing care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
• Develop and implement an interdisciplinary plan of care considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers through effective communication.
• Adhere to policies, industry standards, and regulations to promote a reliable patient experience.
• Engage in continuous growth and development in professional nursing practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• 2 years of recent relevant nursing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Working knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills to evaluate and resolve standard issues.
