About the position

The Vice President of Private Credit Marketing at Goldman Sachs will lead the marketing efforts for the Asset Management division, specifically focusing on private credit strategies. This role is pivotal in driving the global growth of Goldman Sachs Alternatives, which manages $500 billion in assets. The Vice President will collaborate with various teams to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance client engagement and support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Help design and deliver a cohesive private credit marketing strategy across internal and external channels
  • Partner with business leaders to integrate private credit's unique positioning across sales and marketing assets globally
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of product-specific marketing collateral in partnership with AM's Creative Design team
  • Assist in the fund update process, executing webinars, newsletters, and communications to keep clients informed of fund developments
  • Partner with institutional and third-party wealth channel marketing professionals to deliver integrated marketing campaigns that support new client acquisition
  • Collaborate with Media Relations on opportunities that showcase Private Credit transactions, leaders, and awards
  • Support content creation for private credit events, both proprietary and industry conference sponsorships
  • Use a data-driven approach to optimize marketing tactics and reporting against KPIs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across AM Marketing colleagues and key stakeholders across the global organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in a similar or related role with previous experience in asset management and alternatives marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of the alternatives industry, clients, products, regulations, and competitors, particularly in private credit
  • Ability to present investment views in a thoughtful and well-reasoned manner
  • Well-developed strategic thinking with commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Demonstrated integrated marketing skills across strategy and execution
  • Proven track record of working effectively across matrixed organizations with excellent communication skills
  • Experience with senior stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS); MBA and/or CAIA preferred.
