About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Bozzuto plays a crucial role in leading the property management team and ensuring exceptional experiences for residents. This position involves a blend of operational responsibilities, community engagement, and team leadership, all while upholding the company's core values and standards. The AGM is expected to contribute to financial objectives, maintain high occupancy levels, and foster a positive living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and embody the core values and culture of Bozzuto.
  • Contribute to financial objectives by managing rent collection and delinquency.
  • Conduct personalized tours to achieve occupancy goals and secure new leases.
  • Ensure positive resident interactions to build brand loyalty and retention.
  • Maintain the community's appearance and uphold the Bozzuto brand standards.
  • Coach and mentor team members in the absence of the Property Manager/General Manager.
  • Work weekends to accommodate prospective residents, with two days off during the week.

Requirements

  • A college degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in property management, hospitality, or retail industries.
  • Exposure to rent collection processes, budgets, and account receivables.
  • Proficient in leveraging social media platforms for marketing purposes.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent with industry software, preferably YARDI.
  • Sales aptitude and a sharp professional appearance.
  • A valid real estate license or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in community engagement and resident relations.
  • Familiarity with property management software and tools.
