About the position

The Assistant Manager at Pinnacle Fit Clubs is responsible for overseeing gym operations to ensure a high-quality member experience and the financial success of the club. This full-time role involves managing staff, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring superior customer service is provided at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high performing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Provide backup support to the Club Manager as needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff effectively.
• Ensure staff provides a superior customer experience during member service oversight.
• Resolve or escalate employee issues or concerns as necessary.
• Manage front desk activities including answering phones, checking members in, and facilitating new member sign-ups.
• Take prospective members on tours and address all member requests, issues, and questions.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
• Order supplies based on club requirements and specific budget.
• Track statistics and reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

Requirements

• Current CPR Certification required (employer-provided).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional leadership, diplomacy, and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong problem resolution skills.
