About the position

The Associate Product Manager - Fixed Income Analytics will work on enhancing the quality and coverage of FactSet's advanced fixed income quantitative analytics offerings. In this role, the Associate Product Manager will support the generation of the fixed income analytics at all stages, including discovery, solutioning, launch and monitoring. Work may span multiple asset classes, including but not limited to bonds, mortgages/structured products and derivatives. In addition, regular collaboration with clients, sales, quantitative researchers, software engineering and model validation is required.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly gather, analyze, and interpret feedback from clients and prospects to understand their requirements on fixed income analytics and the gaps in our solutions and in the marketplace.
  • Participate in every stage of FactSet's modeling of fixed income product securities as part of an international team of world-class specialists.
  • Deliver high quality fixed income analytics by testing and analyzing new features, models, and methodologies, and creating marketing and support documentation.
  • Collaborate with groups (sales, quantitative researchers, software engineering and model validation etc.) across the organization to identify, design, and execute project plans and enhancements related to fixed-income analytics.
  • Supports Product Managers by prioritizing issues that are critical to improve the quality of fixed income analytics.
  • Serves as an internal resource to educate junior team members and support desk staff on troubleshooting best practices.
  • Gives prompt and candid feedback to cross-functional team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in product management, fixed income, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional analytical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income knowledge preferred.
  • CFA or FRM a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and works well in a team environment.
  • A product-first mindset, with a strong focus on understanding client problems, defining clear goals, and experimenting to find the best solutions.
