We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer who will be responsible for production support of the BASE24 (payments processing) application at Publix. Our team is passionate about constantly improving the quality of our solutions and support processes. In this position, you will provide best practice support around BASE24 processes and procedures, provide project leadership, contribute, and coordinate with development on strategic and maintenance efforts and participate in efforts to improve and implement BASE24 features and functions.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively communicate with management and the team on issues and/or any system changes
  • Serve as contact for system issues and perform problem resolution on moderately complex issues
  • Provide pilot monitoring and mass rollout support for ATM releases
  • Proactively analyze trends to provide effective support to decrease ATM downtime
  • Participate in on-call production support rotation with team members
  • Work with multiple teams to identify and resolve application issues
  • Ensure ATMs are compliant with security standards, stable, and available to our customers, providing them with seamless and secure banking experiences
  • Maintain a robust business relationship with our support areas to ensure efficiency to meet demands
  • Uphold exceptional customer service that meets and exceeds our customers' expectations
  • Analyze, report, and troubleshoot potential chronic application issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting applications in an enterprise environment
  • Experience supporting payments-related applications
  • Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in identifying and supporting process improvements

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year of ATM troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working in a Payment Card Industry (PCI) audited environment
  • Experience working in a HP non-stop / Tandem environment
  • Experience working with BASE24 application
  • Experience with security and protection concepts including security key infrastructures
  • Experience with Golden Gate and data replication
