About the position

This role involves managing a high-volume caseload from the discovery stage through trial, requiring exceptional knowledge of civil procedure and trial procedures. Responsibilities

• Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial.
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure and trial procedures.
• Conduct thorough research and prepare legal documents.
• Provide written and oral advocacy in court.
• Manage a busy, time-sensitive caseload independently.
• Direct support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuits.

Requirements

• Law degree from an ABA accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Active license to practice law in New York and good standing with the state bar.
• 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience.
• Experience working in a paperless environment.
• Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation.
