About the position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team at Red Ginger Asian Bistro. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, whether in a nightclub setting or fine dining establishment. You will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu.
• Process orders efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with ordering products.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a nightclub or fine dining setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and various beverage types is advantageous.
• Familiarity with food safety practices within the food service industry is essential.
• Strong sales skills to promote drink specials and enhance guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
