About the position

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at Greenfire Restaurant. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. Your expertise in mixology and knowledge of beverages will enhance the overall experience at our establishment, whether it be a nightclub or bar setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments through a cash register and Aloha POS system.
• Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service, including checking identification for age verification.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak hours in a nightclub setting.
• Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
