About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Basketball Coach/Instructor to join our team and inspire young athletes to develop their basketball skills. This role focuses on coaching children and fostering their growth in the sport, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate training sessions to enhance players' basketball skills
• Teach fundamental techniques such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork
• Motivate and encourage players to reach their full potential on and off the field
• Organize and lead team practices, drills, and scrimmages
• Provide constructive feedback to players to support their growth and development
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes sportsmanship and respect

Requirements

• Ability to work with children and young athletes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience playing and/or coaching basketball (experience with youth is a plus)
• Reliable and punctual with strong time management
• Ability to adapt coaching style to different age groups and skill level
