About the position

The Bulk Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market plays a vital role in maintaining, packing, and stocking bulk food items while delivering exceptional customer service. This position involves following merchandising plans, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting the Bulk Manager as needed. The Bulk Clerk is expected to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a friendly shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, pack, and stock all bulk foods featured at Sprouts.
• Follow the merchandising Bulk plan by packaging and scaling bulk items accurately.
• Fill bulk bins and prepare, wrap, and price bulk packages.
• Rotate products using code dates and adhere to cleaning and sanitation programs.
• Provide high-level customer service and ensure cleanliness of the Bulk area.
• Assist the Bulk Manager as needed and maintain equipment in safe working condition.
• Receive, unload, and stock merchandise throughout the day.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Possess a positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Ability to perform repetitious activities and multi-task while staying organized.
• Physically able to transfer products weighing up to 50 lbs. for distances up to 4 feet.
