MBL Technologies is currently hiring for a Business Continuity System Administrator to support our client in the Washington, DC metro area. Please note this role is onsite five days a week in the DC, Metro Area.

Responsibilities

  • Front-end and database administration of information technology tools (e.g. SharePoint and ArcGIS)
  • Create and update relevant lists and data using system interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot and implement front-end coding fixes to custom web interfaces.
  • Follow established project management plans for system updates.
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation.
  • Identify and resolve operational risks to systems used.
  • Experience working with evaluating, and as needed recommending operational support technologies to improve processes.
  • Extensive experience WebEOC administrative interface.
  • SharePoint (or similar product) user experience/user interface (UX/UI) development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Possess a valid driver's license to operate government vehicles.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Skilled in customer service with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Performs other official job duties and projects as assigned in support of the Federal agency.

  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Skilled in customer service with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS/BA degree is preferred.
  • Certification in user experience/user interface (UX/UI)
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, Python, HTML5, CSS, and/or CSS3.
