About the position

Robbins Gioia, LLC is seeking a C++ Web Services Developer to join their internal JFAST™ software development team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web services that support enterprise-level planning and scheduling software implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the performance and scalability of web services.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining web services using C++ with a focus on mathematical computations and optimizations.
• Implementing and optimizing algorithms for various applications to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Utilizing graph theory to solve complex problems and enhance web service functionality.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate web services with front-end applications developed in Java or Angular.
• Performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Developing and maintaining database queries using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to web services to ensure optimal performance.
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in C++ development with a strong focus on mathematical applications and bit manipulation.
• Experience in algorithm optimization and performance tuning.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of graph theory and its applications in web services.
• Proficiency in Java or Angular for front-end integration.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams.
