About the position

As a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club, you will enhance member service by delivering high-quality bakery products while collaborating with team members to meet customer expectations. This role involves planning bakery production, ensuring food safety, and utilizing digital tools to improve sales and member engagement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate associates on tools and tasks.
• Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs.
• Follow recipe measurement instructions and work with various decorating tools to create designs.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment.
• Drive performance in the bakery area by ensuring quality and date control standards.
• Prepare for seasonal events impacting bakery volume and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Model high-quality service and products as a brand advocate.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers, identifying priorities, and communicating progress.

Requirements

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
