Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics, in accordance with accepted protocols.
- Maintains supply inventory and restocks to maintain proper operating levels.
- Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment, while manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams.
- Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures.
- Performs routine and complex studies, in addition to assisting with a variety of imaging procedures.
Requirements
- Associate or Technical degree in a related field.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support.
- ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS).
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
- (FE) ARDMS or ARRT - Fetal Echocardiography.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE).
- Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS).
- RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist.
- RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer.
