About the position

The Cell Therapy Navigator at Inizio Engage plays a crucial role in educating healthcare professionals about a new FDA-approved cell therapy for patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma. This position involves building strong relationships with oncology practices, delivering in-depth product knowledge, and facilitating access to treatment at authorized centers. The role is designed for passionate individuals who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes and navigating the complexities of the healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Educate community oncology practices and healthcare providers on the FDA approved label, including indication, clinical data, and safety.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and healthcare provider office staff.
  • Analyze healthcare industry trends, applicable laws, and market conditions to develop business plans and execute interactions with healthcare providers.
  • Demonstrate deep marketplace and therapeutic expertise to support appropriate patient identification and expedite treatment journeys.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster team effectiveness and achieve shared goals.
  • Ask strategic questions to understand customer needs and position current promoted brands accordingly.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of current or previous nursing experience.
  • Oncology, metastatic melanoma, and/or cell therapy experience preferred.
  • BSN or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous clinical education, pharmaceutical sales, and/or field reimbursement experience preferred.
  • Current relationships with key high volume community oncology practices within the geographic area preferred.
  • Experience in accessing and building relationships with hard-to-access customers.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present to various audiences, including physicians and oncology office staff.
  • Deep understanding of community oncology practices and the challenges they face in patient navigation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in clinical education or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Previous experience in field reimbursement roles.
  • Established relationships with oncology practices.
