About the position

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a marketing intern with interest in supporting channel sellers and enabling the Toshiba business partner ecosystem that supports both brick-and-mortar retailers as well as e-commerce retailers and independent software vendors. This position will have training focused on products, programs, events, operations, social media, tools, and other marketing components that help meet our business partner needs. The successful candidate will possess excellent time-management and organizational skills, be able to think out of the box and generate new ideas, as well as follow standard processes and procedures. This person should have strong interpersonal skills as they will frequently consult with, and make recommendations to, Marketing and Sales leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of the product and channel marketing team, collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Work with Channel Marketing Manager to coordinate activities related to the channel marketing activation planning.
  • Teaming with Channel Marketing and Channel Operations Manager, coordinate imagery and content for social media, newsletter, and other channel communications.
  • Get trained on and manage the General Toshiba Communications Daily eMail Inbox, Channel Newsletter and Channel Navigator program.
  • Support Channel Marketing programs by tracking incentives, watching/tracking LinkedIn & other social media for campaigns, content and create tracking for KPIs.
  • Assist Channel Marketing Manager and Channel Operations Manager with Channel Events logistics and other industry relationships to make the most of these associations.
  • Learn Pardot and other internal marketing tools to help create partner communications and marketing flash announcements.
  • Assist Product Marketing and ISV Manager with managing campaign components – lead management, social media management, webinar launch, website creation and other elements as may be required.

Requirements

  • This role is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in a four-year degree program, majoring in marketing or business.
  • Creative, strategic thinking, and logical reasoning skills.
  • Capable of taking direction and working independently on assigned tasks.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse team members as needed.
  • Strong usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
