About the position

The Child Care Center Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This leadership role requires a passion for early childhood education and the ability to manage staff, engage with families, and maintain compliance with state regulations. The Director will work closely with educators and administrative staff to implement a creative curriculum and foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the child care center, including staffing, budgeting, and program development.
• Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding child care standards.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and engagement.
• Supervise staff performance, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for children and staff.
• Collaborate with community organizations to enhance program offerings and resources.
• Monitor children's progress and implement strategies to support their growth and development.

Requirements

• A degree in Education Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in higher education teaching or administration is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
• Familiarity with early childhood education best practices and curriculum development.
