About the position

The Marketing Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activities by managing processes, platforms, and data that support campaign execution and performance tracking. This role involves coordinating marketing workflows, maintaining websites and databases, analyzing key metrics, and ensuring smooth collaboration between marketing and other departments. The Marketing Operations Coordinator helps optimize marketing automation, reporting, and budget tracking to enhance overall productivity and drive data-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution and optimization of marketing campaigns by managing workflows and processes.
  • Maintain and update websites and marketing databases, ensuring content and data accuracy, and segmentation for targeted messaging.
  • Assist with marketing automation tools on site and in email, CRM systems, and campaign tracking to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing insights and reports to stakeholders.
  • Assist in budget tracking, invoice processing, and financial reconciliation for marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure marketing content and collateral are created, organized, updated, and distributed effectively.
  • Manage digital asset libraries and version control for creative materials.
  • Research and implement best practices for marketing operations and process improvements.
  • Support event planning, logistics, and execution for trade shows, sponsorships, and promotional activities.
  • Identify and manage vendors for executing marketing assets and promotional items/products.
  • Report on KPIs daily as part of Lean Daily Management.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent in experience.
  • Data-driven decision maker.
  • Team oriented and able to motivate vendors.

Nice-to-haves

  • Equine industry experience a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of and ability to manage website development via outside vendor; website development experience not required.
  • Strong collaborator who can operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Naturally curious problem solver who is interested in learning in general and, especially, new systems, applications, software, etc to create and/or continually improve marketing outcomes.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Applications, Google Analytics, Email/Database platforms, Adobe Applications, Project Management Applications.
