About the position

The CNC Service Engineer position at Methods Machine Tools involves providing technical support and service for high-end CNC machine tools. The role requires ownership of service calls from initiation to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise. The engineer will perform preventive maintenance, installations, and repairs on various CNC machines, contributing to the company's reputation for quality service.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of entire service call from initial phone call to completion of repair.
• Perform and promote Preventive Maintenance services on CNC machining centers, lathes, and wire EDM machines.
• Install and service CNC machining centers, lathes, and wire EDM machines.
• Turn in expense reports once a week.
• Clear communication with customer and management.

Requirements

• Experience in CNC field service is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Self-motivated.
• Working reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Desire to continually increase knowledge.
