About the position

The position involves providing audio and video direction and guidance across all organizational units at Eversource. The role serves as an advisor and consultant for video production and broadcast initiatives, ensuring effective communication through visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and execute audio and video production.
  • Participate in and/or lead assigned audio-video instructional design projects, developing and executing appropriate strategies.
  • Manage financials to achieve positive business results in alignment with department objectives.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of Eversource's internal television network (ETV).
  • Capture initial stakeholder requests, brainstorm and concept solutions, contribute to scriptwriting, and manage assigned projects.
  • Translate institutional messages into intriguing visual stories, both in-studio and on location.
  • Pack and transport equipment to filming locations as needed.
  • Conduct still photography for portraits, events, and environments.
  • Produce various video formats including scripted videos, unscripted interviews, and integrated videos with motion graphics or 3D animation.
  • Curate a strong gallery of images and video content that reflect the brand.
  • Maintain positive work relationships with photo/video subjects, co-workers, managers, and external partners.
  • Stay current on the latest trends, technology, and tools in video production.
  • Demonstrate a highly organized work style to prioritize and execute multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to videography or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in shooting, editing, and posting high-quality video and photography if non-degreed.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Strategic and tactical project management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate, define, and direct solutions to complex issues related to video production.
  • Demonstrated skill with MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels within the organization and with external counterparts.
  • Ability to influence decisions based on area of expertise.
  • Working knowledge of editing platforms including Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with drone aerial footage.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in corporate video production is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates should provide a link to portfolio samples showcasing examples of photography, videography, and video editing.

  • Competitive total rewards program including an annual salary range of $109,000-$121,000/year plus incentive.
