The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for executing content marketing initiatives that will build brand awareness and increase leads. The Content Marketing Manager will create shareable content, distribute on all appropriate platforms, and measure the results of marketing activity.

Responsibilities

  • Spearheads all content marketing and brand-building initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention.
  • Works closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective content strategies that articulate and align properly and consistently with Asurint’s goals and brand; manages and maintains consistent editorial calendar.
  • Collaborates with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and audiences and addresses business objectives; reviews all content and ensures consistent messaging.
  • Supports strategic marketing plan by overseeing creation of high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, press releases, email marketing messages, case studies, presentations, webinars, promotions, video scripts, landing page copy, survey reports, web copy and more, consistent with Asurint’s tone and mission.
  • Assists team in producing content, including conceptualizing, assigning, and overseeing development of projects, and copy editing before publishing; ensures use of targeted keywords set by Marketing management and bases articles around them.
  • Grows subscriber base by providing regular, helpful content that’s aligned with subscriber needs and interests, then optimizes the path to conversion; categorizes and indexes content library and conducts periodic audits to align with customer buying journey and key topics.
  • Delivers robust social media program (which may involve vendors) by creating content for the different social media channels; repurposes content for different mediums including social media and video; blogs on an ongoing basis to support and promote offers and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers using search engine optimized copy.
  • Updates all sections of the website; identifies and delivers new content to enhance website use and performance; aids in conceptualizing and creating entertaining and informative video content for the website.
  • Stays up to date on the latest industry trends, best practices, and customer challenges; monitors competitor websites to build and maintain content marketing editorial calendar and written guidelines throughout the year.
  • Manages budgets and resources effectively and efficiently; knows and understands Asurint’s financial position.
  • Manages vendors and outside service providers effectively; sets expectations and holds them accountable.
  • Continuously measures and improves content performance; creates reports leveraging various analytics tools.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and managing content and using content management systems is required.
  • Excellent business writing, editing, and communications skills are required.
  • Experience managing agencies, freelance artists, vendors, and other third parties and getting work done through effective delegation is required.
  • Salesforce/Pardot knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing a comprehensive corporate social media plan is required.
  • Webinar, presentation, and social media platform analytics skills are required.
  • Experience collaborating on strategic direction and working independently to drive results in a flexible, self-directed manner.
  • Experience leading and driving results at the functional level is required.
  • Experience marketing to Human Resources decision-makers is preferred.
  • Experience in the human capital management field, background screening, and/or the legal/court system is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required; Salesforce.com CRM is preferred; experience and proficiency with creative design, including Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience marketing to Human Resources decision-makers is preferred.
  • Experience in the human capital management field, background screening, and/or the legal/court system is preferred.
