About the position

As a Conversational AI Consultant at Google Cloud Professional Services, you will play a pivotal role in guiding strategic customers through their cloud journey, focusing on the development and implementation of conversational AI solutions. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and deliver virtual agent solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead virtual agent development engagements with strategic Google Cloud partners and customers, including stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and addressing deployment needs.
• Design engaging conversational interfaces for Conversational AI (CCAI).
• Work with internal specialists, and Product and Software Development teams to package approaches, best practices, and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
• Interact with Sales teams, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks and issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
• Travel approximately 30% of the time for client engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in computational linguistics or software development.
• Experience building chatbots or voicebots.
• Experience working with customers, executives, and technical leads.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building chatbots or voicebots with Dialogflow, as well as launching chatbot or voicebot applications.
• Experience building cloud-based conversational AI solutions.
• Effective leadership and influencing skills in the application of AI or Machine Learning.
• Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
