About the position

The Store Counterperson at Fisher Auto Parts is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring sales targets are met, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment for both customers and associates. This role emphasizes high standards of customer service and effective communication while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete day-to-day business operations aligned with company values.
  • Meet or exceed sales levels to achieve budgeted goals.
  • Ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere for associates and customers.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and prompt handling of customer orders.
  • Keep store appearance and merchandising as assigned.
  • Utilize computerized systems for inventory control and customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and associates.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional working attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • ASE Certification preferred but not necessary at time of hire.
  • Familiarity with automotive systems and ability to perform shop functions.
