About the position

The Production Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing one or more production lines, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves supporting the production supervisor, maintaining productivity, and addressing any operational issues that may arise during production. The position requires effective communication with stakeholders and the ability to manage production schedules and employee attendance.

Responsibilities

• Support the production supervisor to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain information regarding unit counts and production metrics.
• Implement quality and food safety procedures as required.
• Manage productivity and output at optimum capacity for production lines.
• Ensure appropriate staffing at workstations for respective production lines.
• Maintain continuous production momentum and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Enforce physical safety, food safety, and quality guidelines within the production line.
• Manage line start-up, breaks, lunch periods, and end-of-shift timelines.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding food safety and operational downtimes.
• Ensure production volume targets are met according to daily schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Facilitate adequate process and material flow for continuous production.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and clear communication skills.
• Act as a reliever for multiple line functions as needed.
• Maintain daily attendance records for production line employees.
