About the position

Join our team and play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB)! You'll be responsible for performing essential custodial and housekeeping duties, ensuring our facilities shine and provide an outstanding experience for every visitor. Take pride in creating a spotless and inviting environment while contributing to the success of exciting events in Little Rock! This is a Safety-Sensitive Job for Purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment. This position is considered Essential Personnel under the LRCVB Inclement weather policy.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains various areas within an assigned LRCVB facility including office areas, rest rooms, meeting rooms, public spaces, exhibit halls, ballrooms, River Market including the Food Court area, Ottenheimer building, and the Robinson Center.
• Sweeps and mops floors, vacuums carpeted areas; dusts baseboards; cleans windows; cleans and sanitizes tables and chairs including in the Food Court area and performs other light custodial and related duties.
• Buffs, strips and waxes hard surface, as required.
• Maintains appropriate cleanliness of public and meeting spaces before, during and after events in compliance with applicable guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Completes all assigned duties from applicable checklists as required.
• Cleans and maintains all windows, doors and blinds.
• Empties and cleans waste receptacles, recycle bins and trashcans; replaces plastic liners.
• Maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notifies supervisor of supplies needed.
• Interacts in a positive and responsive manner with clients, attendees of events, seminar speakers, and the general public.

Requirements

• One (1) year of custodial experience in office buildings, meeting facilities, etc., or related area.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
