Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings to determine the method of fabrication
• Communicate with Shop Manager and Project Coordinators regarding potential problems or concerns
• Safely operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including shears, punch press, folding machines, press brakes, plasma cutting tables, grinders, and roll forming equipment
• Locate and mark dimensions per plans, specifications, and shop drawings
• Operate shop forklift to lift or transport equipment, material, and supplies as necessary
• Comply with applicable health and safety-related rules, regulations, and procedures
• Work overtime as needed

Requirements

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and metal materials required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Analytical skills - the ability to use logic and reasoning to solve a problem
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid Driver's license required
