About the position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Customer Marketing Lead to join our Growth Marketing team. As the primary top funnel strategist, you’ll be accountable for developing, deploying, testing, and optimizing multi-channel adoption tactics across email, push notification, SMS, and landing pages in direct support of new client launches and our large database of existing clients. Your goal is to drive initial awareness, engagement, and ultimately new user registrations for Tapcheck. This role reports into the Sr. Director of Growth Marketing and will work in close strategic coordination with our Customer Success, Product Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data teams. The ideal candidate is a proven upper funnel adoption strategist and multi-channel subject matter expert with a passion for driving growth. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role in a fast-growing scale-up.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy hyper-personalized, multi-channel adoption tactics for new and existing clients across email, push notification, SMS, and landing pages with emerging opportunities in other paid and owned channels
  • Develop and deploy recurring promotions with a keen focus on generating positive ROI, while supporting broader Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiatives
  • Regularly author strategy briefs for stakeholder buy-in that clearly capture the intent of your work, required dependencies, and how success will be measured
  • Regularly monitor, analyze and document both channel (sends, clicks) and business metrics (funnel starts, registrations), providing insights and recommendations for improvement to stakeholders and leadership
  • Create, maintain and improve deep audience segmentation and personalization strategies based on known and emerging user behavior, demographics, and traits
  • Design and implement sophisticated test roadmaps that optimize campaign performance and show increment lift
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Product Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Customer Marketing or an adjacent function like Lifecycle Marketing with a strong understanding of outbound channel best practices (email, SMS, push notification) and funnel strategy
  • Deep hands-on experience with Braze or a comparable communications platform (Iterable, Marketo) is required, including a strong understanding of automation logic, asset creation, channel test structure, and sophisticated targeting and personalization
  • Experience working strategically alongside Sales, Product, and Data teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to leadership groups
  • Operationally excellent with a strong analytical mind—you let the performance data guide everything you do
  • A self-starter with strong project management skills with a focus on ruthless prioritization

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience optimizing landing pages and deploying other paid and owned channels is a plus
  • Experience working in fast-growing scale-ups a plus
