About the position

The Delivery Driver/Driver Helper position involves assisting delivery drivers in transporting and installing appliances for customers. The role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to support the delivery team in various tasks, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This position operates primarily in Kyle, TX, and requires early morning starts, with shifts lasting between 8 to 12 hours depending on the delivery route.

Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
• Help navigate routes and provide directions to the driver
• Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries
• Ensure all delivered items match the order and are in good condition
• Support the driver in adhering to delivery schedules

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Delivery Helper or similar role is a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred
• Knowledge of route driving and assisting in moving goods
• Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients
• Willingness to work collaboratively with the delivery team
