About the position

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join a growing consumer products team. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be a key stakeholder within a high-performance consumer products team. This role supports the Maverick Hunting and Skee-Ball consumer brands as well as enterprise-level projects at times. This position leads the maintenance, setup, and updates of website platforms on Big Commerce, marketplaces, e-commerce systems, email platforms, digital marketing campaigns, Google and Meta ad platform management, and other key strategic initiatives for the brand and is a key contributor to the overall results of the business. You will work closely with the marketing team to support the growth of the e-commerce business across The Village.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain eCommerce products, ensuring all are updated according to established specifications and timeframes.
  • Research, recommend, train, set up, manage, and integrate mar-tech applications to platforms.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work with outside partners or internal IT team to implement certain technical integrations, troubleshoot technical issues, or fix bugs.
  • Stay updated on the latest e-commerce, marketplace, and martech technologies and trends.
  • Assess the customer journey and enhance it to ensure an optimal shopping experience.
  • Create, maintain, and implement standard e-commerce processes and workflows to increase efficiency and improve operations for content, product listings, pages, blogs, promotions, shipping, etc., and train internal team members.
  • Adhere to compliance and legal requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes to 3rd party selling (marketplaces, dropship) and communicate to internal teams.
  • Track all listings within a given brand, noting the organizational state of search results, sales page condition, rankings, and price points.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and make informed e-commerce business decisions.
  • Use data to optimize conversions from search/advertising to site to sale.
  • Monitor and analyze Amazon ASIN performance, rankings, ratings, and customer reviews.
  • Support web/mobile and e-commerce creative development and redesign efforts.
  • Create, optimize, and analyze ongoing/campaign/promotional marketing across various digital ads channels.
  • Create workflows and optimize email strategy, including Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Welcome, Thank You, Order Confirmation, Pre-Delivery, Delivery, Review Request, and Post-Delivery campaigns.
  • Provide insights, trends, and best practices to drive e-commerce performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, Computer science-related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a digital e-commerce-focused role.
  • MS Office Suite experience – MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with large retail partners and e-commerce platforms such as SPS Commerce.
  • Experience with ad management is a plus (Google, Meta).
  • Experience working within Big Commerce a plus.
  • Expert in online sales strategies and the various platforms used to conduct digital sales or conversions on a website.
  • Experience with web platform management, with a working knowledge of Google Analytics (or equivalent), is required.
  • Experience with SPS Commerce platform preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to adapt communication style to several different audiences.
  • Must be able to manage and prioritize diverse projects.
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite products and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Must be an enthusiastic, confident change agent with the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Google AdWords and Facebook Business Manager.
