About the position

The strategic and results-driven Director, Marketing will lead the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives across our diverse real estate portfolio. Reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Director plays a key leadership role in shaping the company's brand presence, supporting business development, and enhancing engagement with tenants, partners, consumers and the broader community. This position requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of integrated marketing, brand strategy, and digital media.

Responsibilities

  • Identify proactive opportunities within assigned portfolio of key operating properties, developments, business development initiatives and corporate brand initiatives.
  • Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Maintain and evolve Brandywine's brand identity, ensuring consistency and relevance across all materials, platforms, and experiences.
  • Lead creative direction for marketing collateral, presentations, and digital assets with internal and external creative teams.
  • Oversee digital strategy including website management, SEO/SEM, paid campaigns, social media, and email marketing.
  • Guide the development of compelling content (video, blog, newsletters, etc.) to promote brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with leasing on listings management.
  • Strategically plan and execute events such as property unveilings, tenant activations, and community initiatives.
  • Ensure events reflect the brand and support stakeholder objectives.
  • Establish KPIs and use data to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and tactics.
  • Regularly report marketing impact and insights to the SVP and other senior stakeholders.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative marketing culture.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, consultants, and creative vendors.
  • Develop internal talent, including one direct report.
  • Collaborate with communications colleagues.
  • Partner with internal teams (Leasing, Development, Asset Management) in internal and external initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing. Experience in commercial real estate, architecture, construction, or related industries a bonus.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing people and projects.
  • Expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, and campaign execution.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Comfortable with project management tools like Monday.com.
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, WordPress, Hubspot, and Adobe Creative Suite.
